The rumour about the ex footballer's death picked up footing on Saturday after a 'R.I.P. Pelé' Facebook page pulled in about one million of 'likes'. The individuals who read the 'About' page were given a convincing record of the Brazilian footballer's passing:
“At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (July 13, 2019), our beloved footballer Pelé passed away. Pelé was born on October 23, 1940 in Três Corações. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
Many fans promptly begun composing their messages of sympathy on the Facebook page, communicating their bitterness that the capable 78-year-old footballer was dead. What's more, not surprisingly, Twittersphere was furious over the death rumour.
Where as some believing fans accepted the post, others were promptly suspicious of the report, maybe taking in their exercise from the colossal measure of phony passing reports developing about famous people over late months. Some pointed out that the news had not been continued any real Brazilian system, showing that it was a phony report, as the passing of a footballer of Pelé's stature would be real news crosswise over systems.
An ongoing survey led for the Celebrity Post demonstrates that a vast dominant part (67%) of respondents think those Pelé demise bits of gossip are not entertaining any longer.
On Sunday (July 14) the footballer's reps formally affirmed that Pelé isn't dead. "He joins the extensive rundown of VIPs who have been misled by this lie. He's as yet perfectly healthy, quit accepting what you see on the Internet," they said.
