New Face of Steem - One Post to Claim All Rewards

(Edited)

All the Free Food! Is it real?

In the previous days, I talked with several people who had no idea that they could get various tokens (rewards) apart from STEEM on their posts. And this post is simply to shed some light to my followers (which didn't die or ghosted away in the meantime).

Take your pick: STEEM, SNAX, SCT, PAL, SPORTS. Source

We all know what Steem is and how you get it.

SNAX

  • What is SNAX?
It is decentralized social media overlay for monetizing content with existing popular social media.
  • What does that mean?
Whenever you post on steem & twitter (so far) specially developed algorithm will calculate your attention rate, things the algorithm looks for are: votes, resteems, comments - also not every retweet is worth the same. If users with high attention rate resteem/retweet your post you will get more attention, logically, right? To learn more about snax head over
their snax.one and/or snax explorer and check out all the block producers and chain details.
  • How do I get rewards?
Simply post on steem/twitter, and your rewards will be piled up on your account, once you create a snax wallet and bind it with your acconut and voila. SNAX is currently traded on chainrift exchange.

SCT - SteemCoinpan

#SCT is a token that you get as rewards for posting on Steemcoinpan.

It is an instance of steem, something similar to a new frontend for the Steem Blockchain, but it isn't a forked chain.
It uses the same chain and have the same witnesses from steem, also they are also having a witness node - @proxy.witness, you can check their witness introduction post by @sct.tom. Everything you do on Steemcoinpan will be mirrored on any other frontend for steem, That includes posting, commenting, resteeming and voting.

It started as Korean community, but everyone who is interested in crypto and blockchain can use it, it is a bit tough to understand Korean and Chinese - but more and more people are posting in English. :)

Anyways, you can also get rewards if you use sct as one of your 5 tags for posts. Rewards are distributed depending how much the people that are voting for you have staked sct on their accounts.

Some specifics:

  • Reward payout timeline- 72 hours (3days)
  • Author/curation payout ratio: 50%:50%
  • Annual inflation rate: 0.5% or 5 SCT/3blocks (9”)
  • Every 100% upvote will reduce 2% VP
  • Staking/unstaking – it takes 3 days to unstake and withdraw, max 10 times a day.
  • It is traded on steem-engine

Currently they are ranked as #16 on https://stateofthedapps.com

PALCoin - palnet.io

What is PALCoin and Palnet.io?
It is @minnowsupport's baby project and all the awesome people behind it. In the essence it is very similar to steemcoinpan (or vice versa) - Check their great introduction post here for much better and precise information.

Specifics of PALCoin:

  • Author/curation rewards are set for 50% / 50%
  • Powerdown for PALCoin lasts 4 weeks. - and you can't use it in the meantime.
  • Each user will have one free downvote a day that will not impact their PAL VP (please note that this will impact your steem VP).

How do you get rewards? Simple use the tag #palnet when you post from steemit/steempeak/busy or post from palnet.io.

SPORTS - Sportstalksocial.com

Similar to previous two overlays on top of the steem blockchain we have this one - particularly aiming for sports discussions, basically any sport!
@patrickulrich introduced this project in a much better way than I would ever could, if you are sport lover - check out his post.

Sports specifics:

  • Rewards payout time: 7 days
  • Author / Curation rewards - 50% / 50%
  • Every 100% upvote will reduce 2% VP
  • Traded on steem-engine

To post on sportstalksocial simply use the tag #sportstalk

For the end, I hope I managed to get you some basic details and introduction posts for all these amazing projects. Choose your place where you want to share your content - and earn a bit extra and support more communities. And you know what, this is just the beginning! STEEM is so much more! :)
Here is one awesome scene from Hannibal: free food :)

Oh, I almost forgot... big shout-out to @jarvie and @asgarth for making @steempeak awesome front end. Now the best part... You can see all the payouts and all the tokens bound to your account on steempeak.

Thank you, everyone, for building steem and improving steem, and sorry if I spammed you with a tag, it had only the best intentions.

Cheers,
Svemirac

Great summary/overview of amazing projects on the blockchain. It is clear that crypto is the future. Thank you for bringing all these to bare. Will sure check all of them out because they sound very promising.

I really don't understand why there is a need in so many platforms and not keep everything in one strong place

Everyone has a different philosophy.
IF you look close enough, they all have different curation programs,
same author/rewards distribution, but different payout & stake/unstake windows.

Other than that different platforms can attract different users - and acting in a way they think will bring their token and steem forward. As well as it can be created as a testing ground.

As long as all are on the steem blockchain I think we're good.

Everything is in the one place here and steempeak, busy ect... NBu tif you want to be more specific and just join a sports group then stick to the sportstalk page where you will only see stuff you are interested in. It's making communities for the future rather than the mess of stuff we have here right now.

Yes! @weedcash was the first network actually... but, since I am more into #sportstalk than #weed I decided to drop them out - actually never took some time to investigate smoke.io nor weedcash. :) but yes, many things are developing at this moment. :)

Thank you for your continued support towards JJM. For each 1000 JJM you are holding, you can get an additional 1% of upvote. 10,000JJM would give you a 11% daily voting from the 700K SP virus707 account.

I think we shouldn't get rewards just for using the right tag.
This post has nothing to do with the sport if you ask me.

Of course this one doesn't have anything, but I have written several posts regarding F1 either reports from tracks or just starting a debate/conversation - and the response was neglectable. And as stated above I have far more interest in sport than in drugs.

I don't agree with you with the tags, lots of people will use tags and do a bit of check up on that particular front-end - if they get more attention there, things going on, they will shift eventually.

Sports, weed & sct are specialized in something.
PALnet is not - and if it uses my VP on steem, and my RC - I don't see a reason why not to use it. If you have a good one - please tell me.

SCT is currently focused on crypto discussions and steem monsters (majority of posts) if people get good response on these topics - why not post there either through a tag or through their front-end - it will show up on both places - so I really don't see a reason why not, at least not at this moment.

Users from poor countries will use all tags just trying to get some free tokens and spam all sites. Moderators will be too busy downvoting and all sites will soon look like steemit's trending and hot page. Curators will have a hard time finding quality posts among all the garbage. When they bring bots and vote selling we're at the starting point with token values in the crapper.

Well, I must disagree with you on that. There is nothing wrong with users from poor countries - and blaming users who earn nothing for flooding the steem with shit content - and fucking up curation from whales/dolphins/ rich people is just lame. :)

Creators/Moderators/pre-determined curators should have had that in mind. What difference are they offering compared to steem - other than here is the new token you can get it cheaply become a whale - what is their product, if they are not specified - and if they didn't count on getting all malicious spammers (both from poor and rich countries) then that's their problem - most of the people will always try to game the system - they had experience with steem, and should expect that to happen on their platform too.

If they are not prepared, I don't know whats the point of branching it. But there is an account @nopal4u that will be dealing with all the scammers and abusers. Hopefully will get support from every user! That's the true strength of crowdsourcing!
