I remember watching a speedrun (such as it was) of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and seeing Link beat the tar out of Ganon with a basic sword and wearing only underwear was epic. I could just see the epilogue: "I'm done here; going back to bed now."

I love when people beat Zelda games in weird ways. There's a guy who goes by "SwordlessLink" who does all sorts of fantastic things, like beating Link to the Past with only bombs, or not even getting the sword in the original game (as his name implies). Or maybe it's bombs only in the original. Long time ago...
I was watching my son play one of the Elder Scrolls games and, just to do it, he powered himself up enough to defeat a dragon by merely punching it. A different time while playing Breath of the Wild he was attacking enemies with a mop and a pail, like a janitor from hell. Yep, it's great when people play the games in weird ways.
