Seems like a pretty good gadget and you have really tested it properly. I like my Garmin Forerunner 235 which seems to be a similar price, but it does not do swimming. It has similar battery life to yours, and I think that lasting for a week or so is great as you don't have to worry about it too much. Good to see alternative options available. I couldn't justify the price of some of the premium models.

Garmin do an awesome job with their fitness watches and would think they would be the market leader. You are right though some of their premium watches are amazing but very pricey.
