Tennis is a sport that I'm watching these days as the ATP Cup 2020 is taking place in Australia these days. It's a great opportunity to see some good games from the best and not only.

Today I had the pleasure to see two equally amazing players, Rafael Nadal and David Goffin.

Rafael Nadal doesn't need any presentation for those who are familiar with what's going on in tennis but still I'd like to say a few words for those who don't follow tennis news. He's the 33 year old Spanish player who's currently ranked world no. 1 in men's singles tennis by the ATP. In other words, he's the best.

David Goffin is the highest ranked Belgian male at the moment, No. 7 ATP. He's 29 now and compared to Rafa Nadal, doesn't have so many wins by far. However today he showed what he's capable of. He managed to beat Rafa.

I don't know what's happened with Rafa, he was clearly not on the top, not entirely himself. He fought till the end, no one can deny that but somehow he failed to take control of the situation and David Goffin managed to beat him in two sets.

Today I saw a quality tennis match between two very good players. The heat must have been unbearable as both players were sweating heavily.

Nadal got to play two matches today, one single and one double with Pablo Carreño Busta against the two Belgian guys, Belgium
Sander Gillé and Joran Vliegen. Spain won the game but it wasn't easy at all.

When Nadal finiched his first match it wasn't sure who's going to play the double representing Spain but in the end Nadal was in. However, his performance today wasn't what we are used to. I don't know what's happened, maybe he wasn't feeling well or had some other problems but he wasn't the best today.

In the semifinals Serbia will be playing against Russia and Australia will have as adversary Spain. Novak Djokovic will meet Daniil Medvedev, this will be interesting. I would have loved to see a match between Nick Kyrgios and Rafa Nadal but that's not going to happen as they won't play against each other.

If I were to guess who's going to win, I'd say Serbia is going to beat Russia, Spain will beat Australia and we're going to see the final played between Serbia and Spain. If that happens I don't know who I'd be rooting for, maybe Serbia. We'll see.
