Novak Djokovic vs Kevin Anderson or Vice Versa?

Today I had the pleasure to watch an amazing tennis match in Brisbane, Australia, between Croatia and South Africa, with two excellent tennis player, Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson.

I know Novak Djokovic, who doesn't? He's currently ranked world No. 2 ATP, Kevin Anderson on the other hand is No. 91 right now. Judging from their rank you can see they are at the same level but after watching the match I'd say the numbers are wrong.

1st set took 1 hour and 15 minutes and ended with Djokovic winning with 7-6 (7-5). The second set was a bit shorter but with not much as it took more than 60 minutes. Unfortunately Anderson lost 7-6 (8-6), but that doesn't mean he was less good.

The whole match was balanced, fought till the end by both of them. What we've seen today was a wonderful, clean match played by two professionals. There were no tantrums, no shouting, no cursing, no disrespectful comments, threats or mimicking shooting the judge. None of them broke anything or throw anything out of rage.

Sorry to say this but Serena Williams and many others could learn from these two amazing guys. None of them is 18 anymore but age does little to do with this as Serena at 38 still can't control her anger.

I haven't seen Andersen playing before today but he's definitely a player to keep an eye on. He was No. 5 on 16 July 2018 and had knee surgery in July 2019 and this was his first match. Well, he played excellent, specially because he met one of the best. I hope he can achieve his goals and be No. 1 one day, very soon. He's 33 now, still have time, at least a good 5 years in which he can achieve a lot. Djokovic won today because he was a little bit better and maybe lucky as well.
