Monte Carlo Masters: Evans' fine run ended by Tsitsipas in semi-finals

British No 1 Dan Evans impressive run in the Monte Carlo Masters has sadly come to an end has he was outclassed by Stefano's Tsitsipas of Greece.

The Greek world No. 5 Tsitsipas proved a tough challenge for Evans has he saw him off in two sets with 6-2 6-1.

Evans who climbed nicely in the competition by shocking world No 1 Novak Djokovic and defeating Goffin in the previous rounds met an opponent a step too far.

Tsitsipas will now face winner of either of Andrey Rublev of Russia or Casper Ruud of Norway in the final.
