Plan for the day was to drive up to Hunter Valley in the morning - wake to a nice day. Enough time to entertain a young king parrot male - it is taking time to gain his confidence
Traffic was busy as people head up for week two of school holidays. One incident turns a 90 minute drove into 2 hours. Got a nasty email from property committee about broken balcony and overgrown pergola vine. Photo shows the work to be done
The email talked about work safety and the balcony. No problem as only I have a key - anyone else would be trespassing. As for the creeper - my house and property is surrounded by 4 meter high trees, some right against the house. Pisses me off - I never tell my neighbour how to run his garden
Last rose for the season. Did tackle one side - will take a whole day to cut down and shred - two sides equals two days.
We have a friend visiting for the weekend Dinner: Beef and black bean sauce with asparagus - simple dish for the tired gardener to make.
Turned into a late night and Actifit post squeezed past midnight and screwed up well over 10,000 steps - zero recorded. Would love a way to grab those back.
