Stephanos Sitsipas defeated Dusen Lajovic to enter the semi-finals of the ongoing Hamburg European Open here.
As reported by ESPN, Sitsipas reached the semi-finals of a clay court tournament for the first time in 16 months. It was the oretty big time for him.
World number-6 Sitsipas were trailing 3-5 in the first set tiebreaker, but then won 7-6 (5), 6-2, taking four consecutive points. He was prettylucky today.
In the semi-finals, Sitsipas will face Christian Gerein of Chile. Geryn has won two titles on clay court in 2020. So lets see what he gonna do in semi-final. I just want to say him best of luck for the semi-final. Maybe my good wishes can change something. Lol.
