I'm running a bit late today as I still have to take a closer look at all 3 European Matches from the Belgian teams. I will mostly be watching out for live bets in these matches...
Standard vs Rangers
News broke that Raskin who has been a revelation for them this season got infected with Covid for Standard along with 2 other players who are not important to the team. Standard so far this season has looked quite solid and way more stable compared to the last seasons. They are certainly a team in the Belgian League I'm looking to back if possible. Rangers seem to be a strong side. One of the things I always look at in order to compare is names that used to play in be Belgian League. For them, it is the Case with Roofe (Ex Anderlecht) and Hagi (Ex Genk) both solid players who never really broke through here. Looking at the player values on Transfermarkt, Standard is at 76 Million & Rangers at 62 Million. For as far as the statistics go, Standard only lost 1 ou their last 15 Matches, Rangers only 1 of their last 19. Both teams can count of a solid defense and rarely get a lot of goals against. Standard in only 1 of their last 14 home games conceded more than 1 goal, Rangers got only 5 Goals against in their last 19 games. I don't expect this to be a wide-open game as both probably won't mind starting their European campaign not losing. I took a small pre-game position on

Slovan Liberic vs AA Gent
Slovan (13 Million) and AA Gent (77 Million) have a big gap in player base value when looking at Transfermarkt. AA Gent didn't exactly have the best start of the season with multiple coach changes and only 1 real solid performance which came at home against Beerschot. Bolat will be suspended, Chakvetaze is still injured while Odidja is highly questionable. One of the main issues for AA Gent has been its leaky defense. Plastun who always makes his mistakes has been replaced by new player Hanche-Olsen. Liberec was the nr5 in the Czech league and survived qualifier rounds against Riterai, Steaua Bucharest (30M) with 0-2 & APOEL (20M) with 1-0. They like to play in a defensive block and their pitch is not really all too good. These kinds of matches often prove to be difficult for away sides who on paper are the better team. The Board of AA Gent stated that they must avoid a loss at all costs so I don't expect them to take all too much risk from the start. I'm leaning toward AA Gent +0 @ 1.77 but I will wait it out live. No Pre-Game Bets
Ludogorets vs Antwerp
One of the most important missings for Antwerp (53 Million) away against Ludogorets (32 Million) is their top striker Mbokani who is suspended and is really hard to replace. Their other deep striker Nsimba is also injured while Seck and Lukaku are covid positive. Ludogorets is a regular in the Europa League and is close to being in the lead in the Bulgarian League being unbeaten in the last 11 games while scoring at least 1 in their last 14 matches. They will likely be fighting along with Antwerp and LASK for the 2nd place in the group after Tottenham. This is set out to be a difficult match for Antwerp who on top has a big Derby in the Belgian League this weekend. Mbokani being out might turn out to be a key factor. The -0.25 Odds for the home team perfectly seem to reflect the situation so I will stay away and just wait for potetial live situations where there could be an edge.
