The transfer season is almost over, with some cubs busier than others, and for some it's been an overhaul. We would take a look at some of these transfers that has been outstanding, shocking and for some unbelievable.

Aaron Ramsey

The 28 year old Arsenal man, decided to call it quits on his Arsenal career and joined the Old Lady side after his contracts had expired. The Welsh international, signed a four year deal with the Turin outfit.

Adrien Rabbiot

The saga between Rabiot and PSG finally came to an end, with the midfielder signing for Juventus. Rabiot had refused to extend terms with PSG, and subsequently went to Turin on a free transfer.

Gianluigi Buffon

The 41 year old gave the world of football, one of the greatest homecoming transfers, when he decided to sign for the Old Lady a second time. Just after one year away from Turin, Buffon pens downo a one year contract with the club. A statement on the club website, reads “Buffon is back home!”

Diego Godin

Having spent nine years in Atletico Madrid, the 33 year old defender, decided to call time on his career and joined Inter Milan on a free transfer.

Vincent Kompany

Vincent Kompany left Manchester City, after 11 years at the club, and takes over as player-manager at Anderlecht. Kompany will hope to take all that he has learnt at City to his new job.

Atletico Madrid's loanee has completed a permanent move to AS Monaco. The 24 year old failed to fit into Diego Simeone's side, and has now signed for Monaco in a deal worth €30M.

Marcos Llorente

Real Madrid midfielder, Marcos Llorente, signed a five year contract with city rivals Atletico Madrid, in a deal worth €30M. The 24 year old, had spent his entire senior career with the Lakota giants, but has failed to establish himself as a first team player, and decided to find pastures anew in the city next down.

Mats Hummels rejoins Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich, after spending three years in the club, where he won three consecutive league titles. The deal is said to be worth €30.5M

After just one season at Borussia Dortmund, the highly rated center half has joined Ligue 1 champions, in a deal worth €32M.

Kareem Damirbay

Bayer Leverkusen signed the attacking midfielder from Hoffenheim. The midfielder who played for Hamburg, was signed for a fee reported to be around €32M.
