The final game in relations to the first half of the EPL comes up today as Jurgen Kloop's Liverpool welcome Dyche's Burnley to their daunting homeground, Anfield.

Another EPL matchday fixture that once again puts Liverpool's unbeaten home record to on the line, however, I think the reds should be able to keep that record safe for another matchday as a draw or win for them is the most probable outcome in this game.

Smiles, as usual I bave my stats, and I will be starting with the one favoring a draw.

  1. Liverpool's Recent Run Of Games:
Liverpool are on a winless run of 4 games, 3 draws and a loss, in the EPL, which started immediately after their impressive 7 nil trashing of Crystal Palace at Selhurt Park, but what makes this winless run so pathetic is the fact that they have only scored a single goal during this period. Although, Burnley have not been good defensively, shipping in 3 goals in their last 4 EPL games, I bet they could be fancing a goalless draw against the reds.
  2. Anfield's Jinx:
Liverpool saw their unbeaten run at Anfield extend to 68 after they held Manchester United to a goalless draw last time out, and I bet they will be going all out to ensure this record remains intact even if it requires them settling for a draw due to their poor goal scoring form.
  3. Head To Head:
It has been Liverpool who have been dominant in the last 7 meetings between these 2 sides, winning a whooping 5, with the remaining 2 ending in a draw. Liverpool will definitely want to keep this momentum the same, and this will also be a daunting winless streak Burnley will find hard to break just like most small teams when they face big teams.
Burnley will however be seeking to, atleast, repeat the feat they achieved in the last game between both sides which ended in a draw at Anfield. It will definitely be a fair one for Dyche's men.

I will definitely be expecting a tough game as the reds will want to keep pace with the current top 3s of Manchester United, Manchester City, and Leicester City, whilst Burnley will also want to increases the point gap separating them and 18th place Fulham who lost to the red devils in yesterday's EPL fixture.

Feel free to drop your opinions and comments, they will be greatly appreciated.

Much Love from your Football Analyst and Writer, IbkDaGreat.
