Father’s Day - Actifit: June 20 2021

We had a great day today. I didn’t go walking but I got plenty of steps by doing things with the kids, cleaning and cooking and shopping, wrapping gifts.

The day started off with just me and my husband at home, as the kids are all moving into adulthood. Two mo longer live at home and the other was on a trip. But they all came home during the day.

Anyway, I made my husband a nice breakfast, and then there was an outside project we wanted to do before the rain came. So we went out and cut some dead branches from an evergreen.

For some reason this cracks me up! Here it was, Father’s Day, and my husband was up on a precarious ladder with a hand saw, trimming tree branches!

This next one is the “before” picture. I have no idea why we waited until Father’s Day to cut those down!

Later my son and his friends came home from their trip. I made them pose!

Then the girls came home, and we had a great afternoon and evening. And the house felt full!
