Trip’s end - Actifit: July 31 2021

I’ve been traveling for a week in Northern California. It has been a wonderful break from work and routine! Today I traveled through multiple environments, from pleasant redwoods to hot north coast wine country and then to the cool San Francisco Bay Area.

In the redwoods the temperature was about 75 degrees….

When we got down into the hop fields and vineyards of Willets and Hopland, the temperature has risen by 25 degrees, and for quite a few miles the car thermometer said the outside temperature was 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

But then we arrived in San Francisco, and the temperature had dropped down to 65. That’s all in a drive that takes 5 hours!

I took a wonderful walk up into the San Bruno hills once we stopped for the night. And then we had dinner in the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining in. If you’re ever in San Bruno California, check it out!
