Will Anthony Davis Leave the Lakers?
Good afternoon all. Finally, Anthony Davis' dream of getting his first ring in the NBA is not just wishful thinking. He along with Lebron James and others succeeded in delivering the Los Angeles (LA) Lakers to conquer the Miami Heat 4-2 in the sixth series of the 2019-2020 NBA Finals on Monday, October 12 WIB. Unfortunately, the future of a Big Man who is familiarly called "AD" is still questionable. Because, until now he still hasn't signed a contract extension that has been offered by the LA Lakers. Though Davis's contract at the Lakers will soon expire. Davis himself is a fantastically valued player, worth 28.7 million US dollars for the 2020-2021 season. If not taken, then the 27 year old basketball player will have the status of "free agent." However, he admits that he has not yet decided what will happen to his future.
But Davis had previously said that he felt like he got along very well with Lebron. In fact, he wanted to follow him and reach several finals in the NBA together. The Lakers themselves will obviously try hard to keep Davis, because he is one of the biggest assets in the team. The Lakers themselves have given up many valuable assets when trading players with the New Orleans Pelicans for AD. Of course, a player as good as AD might not only be contracted for a period of 1 year. In fact, reportedly, Lebron James is persuading Anthony Davis to stay and play together for some time to come.
