My Actifit Report Card: March 2 2020, Tron coup d’état, and Covid-19 testing

in #hive-1935528 months ago

I got a good count today by going to the community center for indoor laps (warmer weather mañana so I’ll be able to get outdoor exercise) and an afternoon trip to the gym where I added a new machine to my weight-training routine. I go to Planet Fitness because they’re by far the cheapest club near me but, come on guys, free pizza on the first Monday of the month? Do not tempt me like that, you know how weak I can be.

In a post (“Binance tries to back peddle and play stupid”), @themarkymark quotes the CEO of Binance:

Thought it was a regular upgrade/hard fork.

My take, in a comment to the post:

Riiiiiiight, because Binance has a long history of doing this for every other HF we’ve had?

The United States today hit the 100 confirmed Covid-19 cases milestone. In the latest installment of The Annals of Transparency, the CDC has stopped publishing how many people they’ve tested for Covid-19:

Great job @preparedwombat in getting 11141 @actifit steps for the day! Take care and have a lovely evening.

Have you picked up anywhere the projected life-cycle for Covid-19? Most epidemics have a time line when they reach maximum numbers of people affected then recede, a kind of long wide bell curve. For different epidemics, this can extend over a long time period - I think Spanish Flu was about four years. Life cycles seem to have got shorter with more recent epidemics.

No, I haven’t seen any life-cycle estimates. I’m not usually a tin-foil hat wearer, but I keep seeing suggestions that this is engineered. If so, that might mean an atypically long life-cycle.
