How to Understand The Attacker's Moves

When you get scared, you might close your eyes. You do not like to look something scary. If someone attacks you, you will try to defend yourself. That's a natural reaction. Today we are going to talk about how you can understand the attacker's moves.

When the attacker keeps punching and hitting you, you want to do something not to get hit. Some people raise their hands, look down, or sit down. Sometimes they turn back with a view to defending themselves.

Raising your hands in front of you is a good thing to defend yourself. But if you look down or turn back, you are giving the attacker opportunity to attack you more. Since you do not see the attacker, you just don't know what's going on. You are vulnerable. The attacker can attack you the way he wants.

You have to look at the attacker. Don't close your eyes or turn back. If you do that, you expose yourself and you cannot defend yourself. Now if you look at the attacker's one hand, you might miss when he kicks you. Again if you look at the attacker's legs, you will not see his punches. To see what move the attacker makes, look at his eyes. Now you can also see if he is about to raise his leg to kick you.

Here timing is important. As soon as you see the attacker is about to strike you, you have to defend and counter-attack. If you are not fast enough, you will get hit. You have to respond fast. That's why you need to spend time on your training. You can do sparring with your training partner. It will help you get better and you can respond fast.

Our brain works very fast. Sometimes we just don't realize that. For example, you are walking. suddenly seeing a snake, you run from there. Your brain did a lot of work during this time. You see the snake. You also see the snake's color, and size. You recognize that it is a poisonous snake. You also see which direction that snake is gong. You also check out that there is no stick or something like that you use to save yourself. So you decide to run. And finally, you run.

Within a second, you did all these things and run from there. When you practice martial arts, your skills will improve. You can respond fast in order to defend yourself. So in order to understand the attacker's moves, you have to look and be proactive to make your move.

Yes! Practice basic martial arts! Above all, the senses should be trained through meditation and mental relaxation. (^_^)
