KXIP beat SRH by 12 runs. Jordan and Arshdeep helped KXIP to restricted SRH to 114/10 in 19.5 overs. It was very challenging for KXIP bowlers to stopped SRH to chase down the simple 127 runs target. But really they bowled well. KXIP improved their position at number 5 on the points table. They continuously won previous 3 matches. So they are really in good form, if they will win the next 3 matches remaining then they can easily qualify the playoffs. While on the other hand SRH need to win all matches remaining but still have doubt to qualify if others team will get more than 14 points. Now i'm going to shortly review the match.
SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first. KXIP couldn't start well. Almost every batsman played slow innings and scored total 126 runs by 7 wickets. Rashid, Sandeep, Holder picked up equally 2 wickets. In reply SRH stated very well to chase down the simple 127 runs. They scored 56 runs just in 6.1 overs without losing any wickets. But what happened! After losing Warner wicket, SRH batsman have been gone one by one and all out for 114 runs. Really disappointing performance for SRH. Jordan was man of the match.
