New Zealand vs West Indies Match Review // 1st T20
Welcome back cricket! After IPL tournament it was the first international cricket match in 2020. Really i enjoyed this amazing T20 match between Newzealand vs West indies.
West Indies started batting first and scored total 180 runs by 7 wickets in 16 overs. The 20 overs match was reduced in 16 overs for bad weather. WI openers started well. But after breaking opening partnership there was a wickets rally. WI lost one by one 4 wickets in 58 runs and lost fifth wicket in 59 runs.
Then Pollard and Allen made a strong partnership of 84 runs. Pollard hammered 75 runs off 37 balls including 4 fours and 8 sixes. NZ pacer Ferguson picked up 5 wickets with a brilliant bowling figure of 21 runs in 4 overs.
In reply NZ lost their top orders early. They also lost 4 four wickets just scoring 63 runs. Then Neesham and Conway made a good partnership. After Conway wicket Santner came out and finished the match with Neesham remained unbeaten. Neesham hammered 48 runs off 24 balls and Santner 31 runs off 18 balls. Ferguson was man of the match for outstanding performance.
Well I feel bad for Pollard , a good innings gone in vain .
Yeah Pollard played great innings...but it's not so easy to beat Kiwi on their own ground.
