My Actifit Report Card: November 5 2019

Today I was walking to José Vasconcelos Library on México City, to advise whit some reviews about Taxes, and some art's Books. The Library Building is real impressive. It's the hugest Library of México that also works as a Forum and Exhibition Center.

In the lobby, in November, there is a conceptual skull installation. It's reminiscent of "Tzompantli" in the "Templo Mayor" of the "Mexica Empire" (the "Aztec" word is of German origin and does not exist in Nahuatl). The skulls represented the tributes to the God and the War "Huitzilopochtli" that represents the sun and that required lives to continue illuminating the world, according to the ancient "Mexica" cosmogony.

Just in the center's building you can find another conceptual sculpture. "Mátrix Móvil" is a work of the plastic artist Gabriel Orozco, who transformed a bone structure of gray whale of one thousand 696 kilos, into a piece of art .

Personally I think that this kind of art is so questionable, but finally, the piece is there....
