Himako Universitas Malikussaleh Holds Futsal Competition
The Communication Science Student Association (Himako) Malikuusaleh University resumed the activities of the 5th Student Creativity Scientific Week (PIKM-V) with the theme "Civilization of Human Communication". Futsal competition is one of the sports that is contested in BLT Futsal Field, Jln Bukit Indah-Blang Pulo, Sunday (9/22/2019).
The person in charge of PIKM, Nanang, said that the futsal competition was not only for the sporting event but also for training students in terms of cohesiveness. "Talented players have the opportunity to be selected as players in the faculty and even at universities," said Nanang.
There are eight teams competing and four teams that qualify for the semifinals namely FC Alumni, Opposition, Sabas, and Mactavish. The two teams that qualified for the finals were FC Alumni and Sabas.
"Participants from all elements of Communication Science, not only students, were enthusiastic but alumni also participated in the competition. This activity took place in a crowded manner and was attended by several Communication Science students to encourage every team that played,” says Nanang.
The Chair of the Communication Studies Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Kamaruddin MSi, hopes that the futsal competition will give birth to new seeds of athletes for faculty and universities. "The players must uphold sportsmanship. There should be no noise in the match,” he said.[]
Himako Universitas Malikussaleh Gelar Pertandingan Futsal
Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi (Himako) Universitas Malikuusaleh kembali melanjutkan kegiatan Pekan Ilmiah Kreativitas Mahasiswa ke-V (PIKM-V) dengan tema “Civilization of Human Communication”. Pertandingan futsal termasuk salah satu cabang olahraga yang dipertandingkan di Lapangan BLT Futsal Jln Bukit Indah-Blang Pulo, Minggu (22/9/2019).
Penanggung jawab PIKM, Nanang, mengatakan pertandingan futsal, selain untuk ajang olahraga permainan ini juga untuk melatih mahasiswa-mahasiswa dalam hal kekompakan. “Pemain berbakat berpeluang dipilih menjadi pemain di fakultas bahkan di universitas,” ujar Nanang.
Ada delapan tim yang bertanding dan empat tim yang lolos kepada babak semifinal yaitu Alumni FC, Oposisi, Sabas, dan Mactavish. Dua tim yang lolos ke final adalah Alumni FC dan Sabas.
“Peserta dari seluruh elemen Ilmu Komunikasi, tidak hanya mahasiswa saja yang berantusias namun para alumni juga ikut serta meramaikan pertandingan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung secara ramai dengan dihadiri oleh beberapa mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi untuk menyemangati setiap tim yang bermain,” papar Nanang.
Ketua Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Kamaruddin MSi, mengharapkan pertandingan futsal bisa melahirkan bibit baru atlet bagi fakultas dan universitas. “Para pemain harus menjunjung tinggi sportivitas. Tidak boleh ada keributan dalam pertandingan,” tegasnya.[]
