Papaver somniferum 🌺 Sleeping poppy
Some shots on sleeping poppy that I saw in the neighbors' garden - a very beautiful plant. Papaver somniferum, also known as garden poppy.
An annual herbaceous plant that is about one meter high.
The leaves of the sleeping poppy are bare and colored blue-green.
The fruit of Papaver somniferum is an elongated box filled with many seeds.
The sleeping poppy contains white milk juice, which is toxic.
