Lancashire won by 27 runs, North Group T20 Blast 2020
The North Group match of the T20 Blast 2020 was played today at Riverside Ground Chester-le-Street between Durham and Lancashire, in which Lancashire won the match by 27 runs.
Lancashire won the toss and invited Durham to bat first. Durham batted first scored 190 runs loss of 3 wickets in perfectible 20 overs. In which Jennings and Alex Davies started brilliantly, Jennings palyed brilliantly scored a century inning of 108 runs in 63 balls, and Alex Davies played 63 runs of half-century inning in 50 balls, Apart from this, Steven Croft scored 2 runs in 3 balls, Dane Vilas 3 runs, and Josh Bohannon was not out for 2 runs. In this way, Jennings batted first scored 190 runs losing only 3 wickets in perfectible 20 overs, and set a target of 191 runs for Durham.
Form Durham- Mark Wood, Matty Potts, and Rimmington got 1-1 wicket.
In the second innings, Durham chasing 191 runs, could able to score only 163 runs after lost 7 wickets in perfectible 20 overs and lost the match by 27 runs. Alex Lees scored 51 runs in 39 balls, David Bedingham 33 runs in 28 balls, Brydon Carse 35 runs in 20 balls, Paul Coughlin 10 runs in 6 balls, Liam Trevaskis not out 9 runs in 6 balls, Stuart Poynter 8 runs in 8 balls, Mark Wood not out 6 runs in 3 balls, Graham Clark 5 runs in 5 balls, and Scott Steel scored 1 run. In this way Durham couldn't reach the target of 191 runs in the second innings, staying away from 27 runs, and lost the match by 27 runs.
From Lancashire- Tom Bailey and Matthew Parkinson got 2-2 wickets, Steven Croft and Danny Lamb got 1-1 wicket.
