Artistic Gymnastics Gold Medalist: Carlos Yulo

This year seemed to be a very good year of sports for the Philippines as there were several international championships being won. One of probably most talked about award/winning s the gold medal in gymnastics in male division/category.

Carlos Yulo won the Philippines first ever gold at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships which was held in Germany. He is the youngest among the competitors at the age of 19. He was on the various news and/or shows recently for this victory. Aside from the prize that he got from the championship, he also received several incentives. These include 1 million pesos from the government of the Philippines and half million pesos from the city of Manila.

He also got a ticket for the next year's Olympics event which will be held in Japan.
