671 matches, 101 goals, 40 appearances and 22 titles. These are the numbers that cling to the charismatic Spaniard Sergio Ramos. Now it's over. Real Madrid have confirmed that their captain is leaving the club at the end of his contract.

According to Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol, Florentino Perez will convene a press conference on June 17, where the news of Ramos' stop at the royal club will be announced by the president himself. Sergio Ramos has been in Madrid for the last 16 years, and is considered one of the best defenders in modern football. This season has been marked by injuries, and he was not selected for the Spanish national team that was going to the European Championships.

What a legend, Sergio Ramos as done well in his career and to me it is not a bad end for him, arguably he is one of the best defender to have grace the round leather game.i think it is high time he leaves real Madrid and go somewhere else to enjoy his football

Sad the Spanish defender will be leaving. He's been such an instrument figure in the team for over a decade. He will surely be missed.

Hope the find a decent replacement for him. Best wishes to him on his next career path. He will always be a legend
