Why I joined steem ? Contest by witness @c0ff33a

Hello everyone hope you are all well on this marvellous weekend!

In this post I will be posting my experience on why I joined steem but also why I am still here using steem so let’s begin.

WHY I JOINED STEEM

before joining steem I knew absolutely nothing about cryptocurrency, decentralisation and most complicated internet stuff however thanks to a couple amazing users they introduced me to steem and helped me out as I started it they are @lightestofideas and @meowgan they introduced each to steem very fast and it wasn’t until after I signed up they made me understand how steem works etc I was always looking for a platform where I could just blog without having Barriers that hindered content I could create and steem let’s you create without stopping you and this is the reason I love steem. After making my account I kept learning off of them both about crypto and how steem works payouts, hardforks and more and this just made me love the platform even more

I joined steem because I wanted to create content but I didn’t like other social media’s and felt sites like reddit, YouTube, Facebook wasn’t right platform for the content I wish to create and I feel steem is the best place for me to create content because steem doesn’t care about ability, race, gender or anything all that matters is the content created and I love reading people’s comments on my post because I know that they took the time “precious” time out of their day to read my post and even give me feedback or just share their thoughts.

After finding the ropes on steem I quickly learnt that steem is home to a very friendly community such and I felt I was instantly able to fit in a create content despite my ability in writing not being great. And although my writing is still bad I appreciate the people who do take time to read my posts and give feedback. A few weeks into my steem journey and I met the wonderful beautiful sexy Swedish legend @saffisara I read her posts quite often before eventually sending her a message and she introduced me to a place called the alliance where the legend @enginewitty hangs out hehe. Despite me not talking much with the alliance I feel very privileged to engage with them and talk to members. I am also in the steem terminal and although again I’m not super active in the discord servers I do try to engage with however one server I do pay close attention to is the ramble. My favourite show has got to be PYPT for those that dont know pypt stands for pimp your post Thursday and it’s on every Thursday and hosted by the warm hearted @shadowspub who is a wonderful wonderful host who kindly hosts the show for us steemians to share the content we create thank you shadows.

Lastly I want to go over some more great members and also explain why I love these members a lot on steem starting with @shadowspub I always feel welcome into the ramble shows that she hosts and enjoy listening to people talk about what they have created. Another outstanding member and probably my fav is of course @saffisara she’s always leeping me on my toes checking up with me if I don’t post or don’t chat on the servers she truly is an amazing woman and I highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t yet heard of her to check out the content she creates. And another great is of course @prettynicevideo she is exactly the reason why I watch DTube way more than I did I’m a big fan of her videos especially the theory type videos yanno those mystery type videos I find them a very cool watch. And last but certainly not least my fav witness of them all the coffee master himself mr @c0ff33a I watch his coffe vlogs every week and always looking through his steem feed am awesome witness who is cery comical and very very friendly. Thank you C0ff33a.

Overall I joined steem because I wanted to understand how crypto currency works and learn about crypto and any content however I found somthing way bigger I found an extremely friendly community of people from all over the world. One minute I’m talking to a guy from America the next someone from the Asia I love steem
