In 3 of the fights the officials really held off a lot longer than they should have in most people's opinions as far as calling the fight was concerned.
Not something I like to see and downright dangerous to be honest.

I agree totally... but this is how it goes down in Brazil and perhaps this is why many of the top contenders refuse to fight there.
Interesting, I wasn't aware of that.
Well it's not as cut and dry as them publicly refusing to fight there but I don't think it is a coincidence that most of the time when there is a big event in Brazil that opponents appear to be specifically targeted to favor the Brazilians. Mostly, I think that if non Brazilians are approached to fight in a PPV in Brazil, that they should be worried because there is probably a very good reason why they were chosen. They are chosen to lose.
