Heute war ein maximal entspannter, aber trotzdem spannender Tag. Ich war mit meiner Freundin im Ahrtal unterwegs – dort, wo vor ein paar Jahren eine heftigste Überschwemmung war. Man sieht nach wie vor, dass sich nicht alles vollständig erholt hat, aber es wurde schon viel aufgebaut.

Wir haben dort ein Gebäude entdeckt, das wie ein Internat aussieht – oder eher wie ein Schloss. Anscheinend bedeutet „Internat“ in Deutschland, dass man automatisch in einem Schloss wohnt. Keine Ahnung – sah auf jeden Fall eindrucksvoll aus.

Und irgendwie habe ich mich heute – an Vatertag – entschieden, mir selbst etwas zu gönnen. Auch wenn ich kein Vater bin, warum nicht? 😄
Ich habe mir eine FPV-Drohne bestellt! Ich überlege schon seit Wochen, mir eine zuzulegen, und jetzt habe ich’s einfach gemacht. Den Drohnenführerschein habe ich schon länger – damals für eine andere Drohne, die inzwischen zum alten Eisen gehört.

Ich freue mich riesig auf das neue Hobby. Die Drohne soll am Samstag ankommen – allerdings bin ich da golfen. Ich hoffe also, sie kommt entweder vorher oder danach. Denn das Paket muss ich persönlich annehmen – kein Ablageort möglich. Na ja, ein bisschen Spannung muss ja sein 😅

Ach ja, morgen habe ich frei – verlängertes Wochenende und so.
Und was fällt mir gerade ein? Ich hab vergessen, mich zu wiegen. Tja, passiert.

Today was a super chill but still exciting day. I went with my girlfriend to the Ahr Valley—an area that was hit by a devastating flood a few years ago. You can still tell that not everything has recovered, but a lot has been rebuilt.

We came across a building that looked like a boarding school—or honestly, more like a castle. Apparently, in Germany, going to boarding school means living in a castle. No idea, but it looked impressive for sure.

And somehow, on Father’s Day (yes, today), I decided to treat myself. Even though I’m not a dad—hey, why not? 😄
I finally ordered an FPV drone! I’ve been thinking about it for weeks and just went for it. I already have the drone license—I got it years ago for a different drone, which is now basically ancient tech.

Really looking forward to picking up a new hobby. The drone is supposed to arrive on Saturday—but I’ll be out golfing. So fingers crossed it comes either before or after. The catch: I have to accept it personally. No drop-off possible. Classic drama 😅

Oh, and tomorrow I have the day off—long weekend vibes.
And guess what? I forgot to weigh myself today. Oops.

Da bin ich ja mal auf die Drohnen Aufnahmen gespannt. Ich war nach der Überschwemmung jetzt schon ein paar mal im Ahrtal. Beim ersten Mal hatte ich echt Tränen in den Augen. Wir haben extra den Ahrtal Überschwemmungswein gekauft zur Unterstützung. Danach noch einmal den Rotwein Wanderweg auch zur Hilfe und unten einiges an Wein gekauft. Das Ahrtal ist eine tolle Gegend.

Ja, das kann ich verstehen. Ich war mit meinem Opa als Kind sehr sehr oft in der Therme in Bad Neuenahr. Die ist bis heute leider nicht aufgebaut. Waren super schöne Erinnerungen :(

Ich war nur einmal in der Therme und jetzt geht es ja leider nicht mehr. Auch das Restaurant was direkt an der Ahr war mit tollem Ausblick gibt es nicht mehr. Ich kenne auch 2 Leute aus meinem letzten Job die die Katastrophe live mit erlebt haben. Der eine hat sogar direkt miterlebt wie sein Kumpel in den Fluten mitgerissen wurde und verstarb. Echt traurige Schicksalsschläge.
