17 August 2025: Kleine Wanderung

Ja, gestern waren wir auf einem Fest â nennt sich hier âBauernhochzeitâ. Da wird eine traditionelle griechische Hochzeit nachgestellt. War eigentlich ganz cool. Vorher waren wir noch schwimmen und kaum sitzen wir 10 Minuten auf dem Fest, fliegt mir eine Wespe ins Auge â und sticht mich INS Augenlid. Ich sehe jetzt aus, als hĂ€tte ich mich geprĂŒgelt. Aber zum GlĂŒck gibt's Sonnenbrillen... und Sonne. Also fĂ€lltâs nicht so auf.
Der Stich war nicht nur schmerzhaft, sondern juckt jetzt auch noch richtig schön â optimal.
Beim Fest selbst gab's dann Brot, Souvlaki und wie immer viel zu viel Alkohol. Wilde Mischung, aber war trotzdem ein guter Abend. Wir waren erst gegen 3 Uhr zuhause, daher gestern kein Post.
Heute war das Wetter dann verrĂŒckt. Zwei riesige schwarze Wolken, fĂŒnf Minuten Platzregen mit eiskalten Tropfen, und danach wieder Sonnenschein als wĂ€r nix gewesen.
Ich war spĂ€ter auf einem kleinen Wanderweg unterwegs â so 'ne Landzunge, knapp 7,5 Kilometer hin und zurĂŒck. Kein Podcast, keine Musik â einfach nur Natur, bisschen Drohne fliegen, paar Fotos machen. Hat gut getan.
Essenstechnisch gab's heute Schnitzel â ja, total griechisch. Habâs selbst gekocht. Dazu Kartoffeln und spĂ€ter noch tonnenweise Wassermelone. Abends dann noch einen Gyros gegönnt. Also kalorientechnisch passtâs trotzdem, denke ich. Schritte waren ja auch gut.
Was mein Gewicht angeht: Ich habe vor dem Urlaub gefĂŒhlt 2-3 Kilo zugenommen, habe aber nicht gemessen. Ich schĂ€tze, ich komme mit etwa 86 Kilo zurĂŒck. Alles darunter wĂ€re Bonus. Aber kein Stress. Ich habe ja noch 2 Wochen und will die auch genieĂen.
Was mir aktuell echt fehlt, ist Hive. Ich habe so viele Fotos â und es werden mehr â aber ich komme nicht dazu, sie zu bearbeiten oder hochzuladen. Das fĂŒhlt sich irgendwie immer so unfertig an. Und das mag ich gar nicht.
Ich hoffe, euch gehtâs gut â und dass euch keine Wespe ins Auge gestochen hat. Bis morgen!

So yesterday we went to a traditional festival â itâs called a âFarmerâs Weddingâ here. Basically, they reenact an old-school Greek wedding. Pretty cool overall. Before that, we went swimming. But just 10 minutes after we sat down at the event â no joke â a wasp flew into my eye and stung my eyelid. Now I look like I got into a fight.
Luckily, there are sunglasses. And sunshine. So nobody really notices. But man, that sting not only hurt â itâs itching like crazy now.
At the event itself, they served bread, souvlaki, and way too much alcohol. Wild combo. But still a good evening. We got home around 3 AM, so no post yesterday.
Todayâs weather was weird â two huge black clouds, five minutes of heavy, icy rain, and then sunshine again like nothing happened.
Later, I hiked a trail out to a little peninsula â around 7.5 km round trip. No music, no podcast â just me, the scenery, and a few drone shots. Felt good.
Food-wise, we had schnitzel today â yeah, super traditional Greek⊠not. I cooked it myself. With potatoes and a load of watermelon for dessert. And later, we treated ourselves to a gyros. With the steps I clocked today, Iâm still confident I stayed calorie-negative.
As for weight: I probably gained 2-3 kilos before the vacation â didnât weigh myself, though. Iâm guessing Iâll return at around 86 kg. Anything under that would be a win. But Iâm not stressing. Still got 2 more weeks, and Iâm gonna enjoy them.
What I really miss right now is Hive. Iâve taken so many photos â and I keep taking more â but I havenât had the time to edit or upload them. That unfinished feeling bugs me. A lot.

I visited a doctor today - got some medication and it got way better. But it's still itchy :D
