My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2023 - Starting The Month Off Right

Hey Actifit fam!

Finally getting back to my daily walks and happy to report that so far I am two for two in July.

The last couple of weeks have been tough with travel and recovering from some injuries so I’ve been taking it a little easy. Plus the heat is on full blast here in Texas with temperatures over 100°F.

I usually don’t let that stop me though and in fact I rather enjoy getting a good sweat under the sun. Walking has been particularly effective for me in not just maintaining but losing weight over the past couple of years despite being on and off due to chronic injuries. It’s like a meditation for me, it helps to clear the mind and I actually use it for a lot of creative brainstorming and even songwriting.

So now that I’m back at it I’m hoping to post more regularly and give more updates but right now the goal is to just get back into a routine. See ya around!
