My Actifit Report Card: May 16 2025
Did a 5 miler today and really tried to focus on staying in zone 2 when it came to heart rate. I found it to be quite difficult actually as I would either need to run very slowly or even stop to walk to points when I crossed into zone 3.
I’ve heard there are positive benefits for zone 2 training so I’ll try to do this more often. Supposedly it allows you to train more since you’re not pushing yourself fully and right now I’m in a cut phase after 6 solid weeks of lifting. Hoping to drop another 5 lbs before the summer hits!

All the best to you.. 💪💪💪
Great job on 5k! By the way, you can try intermittent fasting (eat only between noon and eight in the evening) and some interval training like 30 second sprint with two minutes walking or jogging. I found those more effective for me than a steady state cardio for cutting. Though combination of all of these could be best for overall health.
Zone 2 long runs definitely help with speed which is crazy but worked for my 25 minute 5K!
Good to know, I'll keep at it!
