My Actifit Report Card: August 20 2025
Finally got back to my 5k training. Even though I’ve been running, I hadn’t set a dedicated time to push myself and honestly I didn’t even really push it today although I’m happy with my pace at about 9:41.
The only constraint that I put on myself was to not let my overall pace go above 10 min/mile and so I stayed right around there until the final mile or so when I began pushing the pace.
My plan moving forward is to continually push up that threshold. So for example, the next time I do a training I’ll keep my time below 9:55 and then 9:50 the next time. We’ll see how it goes but I’m excited to have a methodical way to push myself.
