My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2023
Today was a great day.
Involving a ride up the trancentral Highway in Cebu.
Leaving Toledo at seven in the morning we proceeded to Balamban. I was pranked by my friend yesterday. He got me to excitedly agree to go with a group up the mountain road as it's popular by motorbike riders.
First though breakfast because I'm hungry. So.
Spending about two hours around this eco park exploring the place and playing with the kids equipment.
The clouds it dog was very heavy that the view was sketchy but when it clears the view was truly awe-inspiring.
The fresh air and it's serene sounds are occasionally broken by the loud grunt of other riders.
One of the most memorable moment while being in this place was this.
A toilet with a grand view. You can pretty much get relief both physically and spiritually here.
Man I was so shocked at the cones of the air here. Awesome. Seriously. It's just a good surprise.
The feel I get when walking around the different places visited has got lots to see and do. There are so many unique cafes here I mean you can pretty much just either relax and chill out just staring at the view.
This spot was kind of scary for me because I heard her say we can do here on our way back but I heard stop here and I did not hesitate to just go to the opposite lane without taking into account the blind curve.
Lesson learned, better to stop at the side first to assess the traffic ahead interest of just blindly cruising into oncoming traffic.
View again to greet me. Not going to lie, these mountains have made sure I'm fully aware of my insignificance compared to the world around me and I thank God for giving me the moments like these to remind me to be thankful for both the joy and the pain I experience each and everyday of my insignificant life.
I could spend my days here just to stare into the distance and let things pass you by. With enough freedom to just let life move forward while staring further deeply into what ever abyss I've dug myself in.
