Al-Ahly group standings after officially qualifying for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League


Al-Ahly team officially qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League after Young Africans defeated CS Belouizdad of Algeria 4-0 in the match that brought them together today, Saturday, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly defeated Ghana's Medeama with a clean goal in the match that took place yesterday, Friday, at Baba Yara Stadium in the Ghanaian city of Kumasi, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League, bringing the red team to the ninth point at the top of its group.

With this victory, Al-Ahly raised its score to 9 points at the top of Group 4, while Medeama's score stopped at 4 points in fourth place, putting the red team ahead in the quarter-finals of the African Championship and needing one point from the Young Africans match to guarantee advancement to the quarter-finals.
