Cristiano Ronaldo faces suspension in the Saudi League because of Messi

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is facing the specter of suspension in the Saudi League after his immoral move he made during his team’s match against Al-Shabab, after Al-Laith fans chanted the name of his traditional rival, Lionel Messi.

The Saudi newspaper, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, revealed that the Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Football Association had begun opening an investigation into the immoral movement made by Cristiano Ronaldo in front of young fans, which caused resentment among many viewers and attendees.

According to the newspaper, the Disciplinary Committee will study the situation captured by the video clips during the end of the match immediately, and the decision will be issued within the next two days.

If Ronaldo is convicted, the Portuguese international may face suspension from his team's decisive matches, which would be a painful blow to Al-Nasr, which is competing at the top of the Saudi Professional League table with Al-Hilal.

Al-Nasr achieved a deserved victory with a score of 3-2 in the match that was held between them in the Riyadh derby in the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League competition.

The Al-Nasr team is in second place in the Saudi Professional League table with 52 points, 4 points behind Al-Hilal, the leader, having won 17 matches, tied in 1 match, lost in 3 matches, scored 60 goals, and conceded 26.
