That's awesome! I'm so pleased you've got solar... I really do think you're saving yourself a lot of future chaos related to the Strait of Hormuz and fossil fuel production.

That was one of the triggers for us. and I was able to land a good deal with a mate. We got big ass battery too before the rebate dropped. Next, we will look into a cheap small EV car
That's awesome. I was going to ask if you got a battery too, I really do think that makes a significant difference.
The BYDs are incredibly cheap, but you could probably also find some super decent used EVs around. I know the used-EV market in the US is massive at the moment, but not sure what it would be like in your neck of the woods.
