June 5 2022 - The cycles of Nature

Today I went for a short hike. It was only 2.5 hours so not sure if that is anhike or a walk. I went with my son to Epping Forest which was a new area for us.

One thing that really struck me was how lush everything was. So green. See the photos below.

We also found on route the carcass above that looks like that of a deer. Not 100% sure.

And thatbis nature. Some of the trees are hundreds of years on and the woodland has been here for possibly thousands of years.

We come and go as humans. We think we are living at the pinnacle of society. Nature though will continue long after us. Its cycle of life and death will continue long after us.
