July 4 2022 - Early morning run and jasmine
This morning I woke up and went for an early morning run setting out from the house at about 6:30 am.
It was a lovely morning for it and after the first 2 km I really felt in the mood for running further. I had been intending to do my usual 5 km route but pushed on to complete 7 km. This nearly made me late for work.
As I was going down one footpath I could smell marijuana. Who is smoking at 6:30 am?
A bit further a long I caught up with the guy and gave him the shock of his life as I ran down the footpath towards him.
Everyone to his own. I guess I was getting my morning buzz from running.
When I got home I was greeted by the smell of the Jasmine plant by my front door. Much nicer smell than the smoke on my running route.

🤢 I cannot stand the smell of Marijuana. But you’re absolutely right about the Jasmine. We have (I call it a prison wall) a 20 foot Perimeter wall that lines the property, and our back wall has jasmine growing on it. Such a beautiful smell.
