August 6 2022 - Crossing into France 🇫🇷

The White Cliffs of Dover.

They are so iconic!

Today I got up early, drove to the ferry port, which is about 2 hours away and took a ferry to France.

I was a little worried as there had been talks of long queues but it was fine. The crossing was smooth and soon I was out onto the roads travelling towards Paris.

The white cliffs are quite impressive and could still be seen from Calais. The migrants must see the land on the other side and feel it is not too far but it is a long way still. And there are so many boats on the sea.

After driving around Paris, we continued down to Orleans.
