November 8 2022 - Don't trust British weather
I went to the office today to work. That meant gearing my steps in.
It was a nice morning, it felt nice walking to work.
I had arranged to meet some friends for lunch just across the street and when I checked out the window. It was lovely blue sky.
I went out and left my coat behind. What could go wrong?
It was in fact very windy outside and by the time I had my lunch, the sky had turned dark and it was absolutely pouring down with rain.
Don't trust the British weather!
I ran back to my office and still got soaked.
When I got back to my desk and looked out the window. Blue sky!

You got wet and here it was mild and too warm to wear a coat for walking (I did have a scarf and gloves). It was an easy walk to the village centre and back, I didn't even notice the long climb up the hill on the way there!
Hope you dried out quickly!
The weather is very changeable right now but somehow seems warmer than perhaps it should be.
