March 4 2023 - Saturday means #Parkrun
I woke up early to get out the house and warm up before the local Parkrun event that starts at 9am. I did about half an hour of jogging and stretches to get ready. It was a cold morning so needed it.
I started off strong this week running a 5 minute second kilometer but slowed a bit in the fourth before picking up again by the final kilometer. Overall coming in at 00:26:27 and I was 14th in my age category.
It was my fastest time of the year so far. So quite pleased with that.
I then went shopping which brought my step count up which is a good thing as my #poliac duel was against my fellow Brit and friend @davidthompson57
Hope it was enough.
