I woke up and headed out for a morning run, again completing just under 6km before getting ready for work. It was quite sunny first thing.

My regular path is getting quite overgrown now. There are places where it is a squeeze to get down without running through the weeds on the side of the path. Hopefully the council will cut it back soon.

It was then another normal day at work that gave a chance for more steps. It was also pay rise day! Not sure what I was expecting but with high inflation and cost of living, I guess everyone is impacted.

I do hope you get a reasonable pay rise, I think I got 9% which is not too bad.

The council seem to do well in some areas but not on the footpaths. Let's see.

Prices are just ridiculous so I think we all need more money but I guess that feeds more inflation. Not sure where it all ends!
