RE: Overload... my training diary entry from April 8 2026

I always go to reach 170 bpm on my Garmin, too. But sometimes it doesn't measure right at all. The important part for me is to get down to 135 bpm within 2 minutes while still cycling, but on a lower intensity, basically on warm-up level. Or cool down, in that case. Since I live at around 2000m above sea level, my bpm are always a little higher.

Unfortunately, the data isn't always accurate when training solely with a Garmin watch. Using a chest strap is significantly better.

My brother said the same. But those things are expensive here. He said he'll get me one in Germany and bring it with him next time. Then we'll see!
