My Actifit Report Card: June 21 2025
https://join.smilesbitcoin.com/takomedia728
Today I got a lot more steps than I usually do on a weekend. There have been Saturdays where I’ve gotten hundreds of steps, which is nothing.
I got most of them in the gym though. Took it easier and stuck to low impact cardio due to knee pain. No running but I did walk 3 miles on the treadmill, jogged 2 miles on the elliptical, and biked a mile right before close. While at the gym I saw one of my aunts on Wheel of Fortune too which was pretty cool. But yeah nice easy workout today.
Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow… ✌🏾

I've been meaning to get back into #Move2Earn because it is rewarding for me and my wallet. The challenge I've had is none of my tracking devices work well when I use a treadmill. So instead of just walking on the treadmill because it's physically good for me, I've been waiting to find the right tracking device so that it can also be rewarding for me here on Hive.
Which logically makes no sense. After all isn't movement and being fit rewarding in and of itself? Yes, but I've discovered that the gamification of my fitness is rewarding to my brain. It's the incentive I need to actually step onto the treadmill.
Yeah, the best benefits are for your brain for sure. Staying active forces me to focus on my breathing and how I’m moving and helps to dump all the stress of the day out of my mind for a hour or so.
But for move to earn, I’d recommend getting the cheapest Fitbit you can find. I use an Apple Watch now, which is a little bit more stylish and has heart rate monitors (and is overpriced), but I was a Fitbit guy on actifit for the longest time…
And don’t tell anyone I told you this, but Fitbit gives you more steps for the same activity than an Apple Watch. 🤫
But yeah, the gamification part is just extra fun. Icing on the cake!
