I wonder why mushrooms come up with different colors
These ones look like a street food here in Nigeria called Akara

The purpose of these colors is not always clear, but research suggests that they may serve several functions. For instance, darker mushrooms are more common in cold climates, possibly because they can absorb more heat from the sun, which could benefit their reproduction.
Additionally, some mushrooms use their colors to attract specific organisms that aid in spore dispersal, similar to how fruits attract animals.

An example - there is a brown mushroom that attracts a brown fly - never seen that fly anywhere else and only seen brown ones on that mushroom
