Unexpected Miles, Unforgettable Views
Some days, the best plans are the ones you never made. Normally, we’re not home on Friday afternoons, but with our youngest away, it didn’t feel right to head out without him. So, we stayed in—which gave me time for an extra walk. And what a walk it was!
The sun was shining, but don’t let that fool you. The wind still had that sharp, icy bite that reminds you it’s not quite spring yet. But the light? Absolutely stunning. Every step along the water felt like walking through a painting—clouds reflecting perfectly, golden light bouncing off the surface, and that crisp, fresh air making every breath feel brand new.
10km and 14,000 steps later, I’m reminded how much I love these quiet, unexpected moments. The ones where you get out, move, and just take it all in. No rush, no schedule—just me, the path, and the sky putting on a show.
