The Fairground Fitness Plan
Today’s walk? Let’s call it the “Great Car Quest.”
Our little village decided it was time to throw a party—complete with carnival rides, neon chaos, and zero accessible roads near our house. The only way to run errands was to actually run them. Okay, walk. Briskly. For a mile. Just to reach the car. And again on the way back.
Naturally, this unintentional trek hijacked my walking schedule… but I wasn’t mad. I clocked in over 10k steps just by navigating the festive maze that is our front yard. So, technically, today’s workout was powered by logistics and curly fries.
Yes, curly fries. Because at the end of all that hustle, I rewarded myself with an epic burger nestled in a loaf of bread (because why stop at buns?). Calories in, calories out… and one heck of a fairground adventure.

Well, that is about correct, say 85% sheer chaos and stress, 15% fun :-D We went out for a drink as well in the evening, and that was fun, but the party lasted until 5am :-D (not for us, we went home waaaaaaay earlier!). It was again last night, and will be again the coming night :-D )

Good question :-) No idea… There already have been a lot of complaints about it from people living here, especially since it’s not really 100% legal like this. But going against it would mean a certain need to move out of town…
