A canal with mood swings
Today’s walk was brought to you by the emotional range of a canal.
Started off strong—blue skies that looked like a Pixar backdrop, a boat called Bilina casually cruising, trees dancing in the breeze like they just got promoted. Nature was vibing high.
Fast forward a few hours and bam, grey clouds everywhere. Like the sky suddenly got real introspective and needed a nap. No golden sunset, no soft orange tones—just pure, straight-up melancholy cloudscape. I half expected a monologue from a French film to start playing in the background.
But here’s the thing: both moods hit. There’s something honest about ending your day under a sky that looks like it’s been listening to Bon Iver on repeat. Still clocked 15,000 steps, 12 km, and zero regrets. Even the clouds can’t slow down this stride.
