Some walks are less about the miles and more about the moments.

Today’s stroll capped out at just over 5,000 steps. Blame it on work, family plans, or just needing a breather. But you know what? I wouldn’t change a thing. I got to walk with my oldest son again, just the two of us catching up in that easy, familiar rhythm. Add in shared meals with the whole family and it made the short walk feel like part of something much bigger.

The skies were heavy, the wind sharp, and the trees bare, but there’s a strange peace to that wintery stillness. Nature winding down, giving space for quiet. That canal reflection? Like a mirror holding still just long enough to show you exactly where you are. And for a moment, I was exactly where I needed to be.

One small step for fitness, one giant leap for family vibes.

Yeah, the last few days it became really hard to take some nice and warming pictures outside :-) As of 15:00 in the afternoon, if there’s no sun outside, it gets pitch dark :-)
