Tradycyjnie w pierwszy dzień roku wybieramy się z żoną na wspólny spacer. Najczęściej jest to las w Havré, bo jest najbliżej. Chcieliśmy coś zmienić, dlatego ruszyliśmy w stronę kanału w Strépy, ale kiedy wsiedliśmy do samochodu, zaczął kropić deszcz. Trochę nas to wystraszyło, dlatego zatrzymaliśmy się przy lesie. Żeby jednak nie był to taki sam spacer jak w zeszłym roku, dodałem do trasy jeszcze ruiny zamku w Havré.

[ENG] Traditionally, on the first day of the year, my wife and I go for a walk together. Most often, it's the forest in Havré because it's the closest. We wanted to change things up, so we headed towards the canal in Strépy, but as soon as we got in the car, it started to sprinkle. That scared us off a bit, so we stopped by the forest instead. However, to make sure it wasn't the exact same walk as last year, I included the ruins of Havré Castle in the route.

Nie wiem, czy mam rację, ale odniosłem wrażenie (a żona to potwierdziła), że kolejna ściana zamku zawaliła się albo ją rozebrano, bo zagrażała bezpieczeństwu. Wydaje mi się, że wewnętrzny budynek, w którym jest sala bankietowa, nie był wcześniej odsłonięty od tej strony. Widok tych pustaków po prostu bije po oczach.

Później wróciliśmy do lasu, gdzie wiele osób aktywnie spędzało pierwszy dzień roku, tak jak my. Niektórzy biegali, inni spacerowali, a pozostali wyprowadzali swoje psy.

[ENG] Later, we returned to the forest, where many people were actively spending the first day of the year, just like us. Some were running, others were walking, and the rest were walking their dogs.
